Intaglio collagraph type with additions after print – gouache & acrylic.
Inspired by remembering reading The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe by C.S. Lewis. A magical sense retained by imagining the falling snow and natural debris on a winter’s night set against the struggling light of the lantern. Watching as it is slowly consumed by the continued falling of snow. Applied gouache snowflakes were created to create a sense of the quiet but steady swirling force.
