Oil on Canvas with acrylic collage – Responsibility – 2012
Reflecting the process of juggling life, work & family, yet trying to keep on target with inner ideals sensing time running out. The figure and juggling balls painted in acrylic in a Pollock-style represent the chaotic and exasperated thoughts and frustration of not having enough time to paint. The figure, applied over an oil-painted background of blues and greens indicating the calm of seemingly everyone else. Brush marks indicate marching through whilst angst.
