Oil on Canvas – And the wind whispered – 2012
Born from the observation of wheat fields in summer, watching the architectural structures of the stems bend to the will of the wind. Top heavy, the ‘ears’ only just seem to keep their forms against the breeze. Painting in oil with later glazes applied suggests sun kissed ripened wheat swaying to the warm wind of summer.
